Joy Paige Springs is the Senior Director of Strategic Community Partnerships for urbanCORE at the UNC Charlotte. In this role, she provides leadership and strategic direction for university-wide efforts to help build collaborative relationships with key community organizations. Prior to joining the University, she served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Johnson C. Smith University. Springs spent over 20 years in the banking industry with her last role at Wells Fargo as Senior Vice President of Community Affairs. Springs is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from Boston College. She previously served on the boards for Communities in Schools, Arts and Science Council, NC Community Foundation, Wake Technical Community College, the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolinaat Chapel Hill, and Fifth Third Bank Community Advisory Board for North Carolina. She is a past President of the Crown Jewels (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.
